but thinking about it, I would love to see a bear versus a few hundred angry African "killer" bees.

I reckon a Polar bear is the toughest of all
I know it's the heaviest of land-dwelling carnivores.

Wouldn't mind seeing a giant silver-back in action though.

I reckon the bear would still win.
If I remember right the killer bees aren't any more venomous than usual, just more aggressive, so if the bear can beat pissed-off normal bees it ought to be able to handle killer bees too.
