lumped in with England as it is.
It's treated just like a county rather than a nation of its own, even with its assembly. At least in Scotland we have some sort of government (albeit of questionable efficacy) and more of a national identity. That said, I really don't want to go independent. That would just be silly. It's bad enough that STV don't show half of ITV's output anymore...
