I should be over the moon due to the post down there with my house purchase, then got home tonight to find my wonderful cat Sparky needs to be put down.

I don't mind not manning the fuck up tonight, he is an awesome wee little cat.
But thankyou

until 3 weeks ago he was an old but healthy solid farm mog, then a cut on his head wouldn't heal, and since then he has been shedding weight and now his back legs have almost gone.
His brother Clod went with the same thing a few years ago, but we didn't click and he was very ill when we had him put down, Sparky is on that cusp of still just about healthy but going fast.

They can be pricey if they include FIP with it, but it's worth it for the assurance.

mouse is my sisters thing that she moved in with, and they are broke.

then it could have been passed on. Having said that, some cats are carriers and can live a long time with it with no apparent ill effects. Or she could get Mouse vaccinated against FELV if it's not vaccinated already.

My cat is a bastard, and actually bit me while I was reading this. I'll still lie on the floor and sob my heart out when he dies. You must have a big sad hole in your chest right now. I'm sorry he's got to go. I'm glad you'll be with him and he'll just go to sleep.
