Join a gymand shower there. Two problems solved in one go! You don't need to fix the shower and you have a reason to go to the gym regularly!
Assuming you want to go to a gym, of course.

I had a cold shower todaybut I filled a cup with hot water from my bathroom sink for when the coldness got too much.

I'm already a member of a gymbut the gym is four miles from my flat.
In my first flat, I only had a bath, but lived close to the office and they had a shower there which I used.
