I just spent an hour and a half walking around ASDA
I walked out with some beens, some baby potatos and some socks.

That's it.

I hate my life.

Are you cheating on Tesco?

Tesco sucks big time.
There isn't anything worth getting in there at all.

Teehee
Everyone's miserable, on the Internet. If you chant JMG three times, he'll come here and use his three pieces of material for your reading pleasure if that might help?

Fuck, Gonz, that's grim.
You should have walked out with some eggs, caster sugar, clover, self-raising flour, vanilla essence, red food colouring and icing sugar. At least you could then have made some fairy cakes. That would have cheered you up.

And just beans and potatos? For crying out loud. Where's the MEAT?

Gonz, why not do internet shopping?
I used to organise the weekly shop at my last job for the lunchtime supplies and most of the time we got what we ordered. If stuff was out of stock then we could choose to accept substitutes or not and if it was late then we got vouchers to spend instore or on the next online shop.

That has to be better than spending an hour and a half in Asda surely?

That only works best
if you're not doing some weird experiment to plan and buy what you need and are willing to get stuff from more than one place.

However, if you're like me until recently and you go into Asda with £120 in your pocket and all the best intentions of stocking up for a week, but end up spending almost £40 on pretty much fuck all that you might be able to stretch to 2 meals, then it's ideal.

Besides, shopping online means you miss out on the reduced to clear stuff, providing you can fight off the pikeys and students. I got a good bit of tongue for 30p last week.
