Not sure, to be honest - she's not worked since she had me.
Never needed to; Father Maladicta could support us all on his wage and she has rather a lot of his money that she would need to give back. She'd likely need to get a job.

If she were to leave, she'd have an uphill struggle. Having been dependent on your dad for so long would mean she may not be accustomed to living in the real world.

I'm sure there must be some sort of organisation that helps recently divorced wives who've escaped failed marriages back on their legs?

She's more resilient than she gives herself credit for
but the thought of being without him gives her Teh Fear :(

I'll look into it - as I say I've told her what I think she should do, it's just a matter of persuading her short term pain for long-term happiness is a much better option than buying another house with a man she's not sure she still wants to live with...

Hopefully if this organisation has a web-forum
she can get in touch with other women in similar situations. Perhaps escaping alongside other women in similar situations might just give her the nudge she needs.
