I'm doubtful I have the skillz for the guitar, hence getting it from a boot fair rather than paying over the odds for it...

FRom what I've heard, if you want to learn to play the guitar properly, it's either an acoustic or one of the more expensive electric ones.

I suspect "properly"
will be more like me sitting on the couch, singing "Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?" and Flatmate trying to drown me out with Abba.
