Are you?
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:30, 29 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
Yup.
And heading for bed.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:33, Reply)
G@night.
Somehow, I'm not quite bedbound yet.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:34, Reply)
Not drunk
but if I have to play through Palace Midas on the original Tomb Raider one more fucking time I'm going to go postal. Hate this level.

*curses PS3's backwards compatibility*

GReetings Mallie
Never have played Womb Trader before. NOr have I had a chance to test PS3's PS1 backwards compatibility.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:46, Reply)
It's surprisingly robust.
I've also played Final Fantasy VII on it :)

I could beat this game when I was 15, but I suck now. It won't let me use the analogue stick...

BE a purist
and get hold of an original PSX.

EIther that or wait until SOny fix their PS1 emulator.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:53, Reply)
Boot fair on Sunday for Flatmate and I
so this could well work out well...
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:54, Reply)
Or learn to be a PS3 hacker
and fix the firmware yourself.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:57, Reply)
That requires eeeeeeffoooort.
And besides, I have my heart set on a cheap guitar this weekend...
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:59, Reply)
Maybe you could turn your guitar into an input-device
and use that to rewrite the PS3's firmware.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:00, Reply)
I will program ye
through the medium of song.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:06, Reply)
MAybe whenI'm writing code with my keyboard
it's sort of like playing music. A guitar will be nowt more than an alternative input-device.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:21, Reply)
I say: YAYUS
really jolly drunk.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:53, Reply)

Oh herro!
Everyone else is drunk. I feel a bit left out now.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:55, Reply)
I say drunk
I'm just tipsy really.

1.5 bottles of wine. I won an 18 player tournament of poker earlier, I suspect its unwise for me to try that again.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:57, Reply)
Ouch!
I have played poker once with my cuntish former housemates, won a lot of plastic things and promptly lost them all again.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 1:59, Reply)
its a skill like any other
I love poker me. Best part is when I hit the sweet spot of "just drunk enough" where I'll make bold bets and call the occasional all-in.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:01, Reply)
I does not has the skillz.
I'm doubtful I have the skillz for the guitar, hence getting it from a boot fair rather than paying over the odds for it...
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:06, Reply)
ya gotsta play
to get any good.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:10, Reply)
By this time next year
I will be able to play a twangy, acoustic version of Through The Fire and Flames. I hope.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:16, Reply)
Are you getting an accoustic or electric one?

(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:15, Reply)
Acoustic.
Can't afford an amp.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:16, Reply)
Good choice
FRom what I've heard, if you want to learn to play the guitar properly, it's either an acoustic or one of the more expensive electric ones.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:19, Reply)
I suspect "properly"
will be more like me sitting on the couch, singing "Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?" and Flatmate trying to drown me out with Abba.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:30, Reply)
I'm tired
I am.

'night.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 2:48, Reply)
Very

(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 3:08, Reply)
Indeed I am. Thanks for asking.
I also won a disgusting amount of money from one of those newfangeld 70squid fruities and danced like a monkey to amuse a friend. An actual monkey. And an acutal friend.
But then, no-one here knows me, so I could be lying.
(, Sat 26 Sep 2009, 3:23, Reply)
Yes
but not as much as your mum
