Morning, Spakk
I woke up this morning forgetting it was Monday. My body was getting me back for waking up on Saturday at 7am thinking I had to go to work, then having that great feeling of being able to roll over and go back to sleep for an hour or three.

Morning K2
Waking up to find you've still got a lie-in FTW. It's even better than sleeping in and waking up later.

Agreed
It's that 'up yours, world' feeling that I like.

This morning though, the world won. :-(

Even though I've got today off
I still got up at my usual time. But then again, having gotten up at this time yesterday to go on my walk, I've not broken my rhythm.

Ah, but the difference is
that you got up because you wanted to, not because you had to.

It makes all the difference. I get up early when I'm away on holiday, to make the most of the day. In fact, I seem to do more when I'm on holiday than when I'm at work. Must be a motivational thing!

Speaking of motivation
I find that when at work, an impending lunch-break or end-of-day perks me up and inspires me to do more work. Even though I was looking forward to lunch, my perkiness makes me finish off what I was doing before I head off.

I often go swimming at lunchtime
I find that helps wake me up a bit. Even though I can sometimes not be bothered with the exercise, once I've started it's great.

Otherwise I'd just sit about on my arse on B3ta all day.

Oh, wait a minute...

I sometimes go to the gym at lunch to perk me up
but then, I can sometimes become too exhausted afterwards to concentrate.

So was that an unplanned day off?

and to be honest it is both delightfull and not at the same time. i could do with getting some sandstone cut today but i am also benefiting from the rest...

Morning all
Today I start my secondment so I'm at a new place. Dunno what I'll be doing yet though, currently I'm sitting around in the kitchen waiting for someone to figure it out.

Morning TLiC
I just hope you've got enough to prevent you from going bored in the meantime (read: an Internet connection). At one of my previous jobs, it took months for someone to figure it out.

Thank heaven for my phone
Although there's always "Police Product Review" with the feature article "A-Z of Body Armour".

Body armour is overrated
All you need is just something to cover your rude bits and keep you warm. Anything else is superfluous.

Bored bored bored
They think they've found me some work but it needs me to go back to my old office which apparently requires three different people to sign off on it. Two so far but the third is proving elusive if not entirely imaginary.
