I like the cut of your jib, kid
How the devil are you, Fredz?
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 17:59, Reply)
I'm good thanks
Been working like a bastard, and had a fair bit o' cash cos of overtime so i've been kinda overdoing it on the entire drinking/drugs/pub/party thing. All good fun, but there's some folks who want to speak to me who I don't want to see, and some folks who I want to see who aint speaking to me anymore, and i'm not exactly sure of the details! How's you been?
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:01, Reply)
Oh dear oh dear!
I hope you don't discover the details. Remain blissfully ignorant if you can. I'm cool. I've been alternating between staying in and going and eating/drinking in nice civilised places. My mother thinks aliens have replaced me and that my boozy violent slaggy return is imminent.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:05, Reply)
Trouble is, people love to tell me the details
Especialy the ones about when I told "The beach story" or who I wound up with, or where. I'd love to remain blissfully ignorant, and even if they're making half of it up I still have some serious apologies to make, mostly to my liver.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:12, Reply)
There are three people in the world
who have sworn never to tell me the details of things I have done and said on specific occasions that I can't recall, but know deep down were awful.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:15, Reply)
y'see I tend to select a fairly large audience for such things
so there's always SOMEONE who knows vaugely what happened, or at least can hazzard an embarrasing enough guess
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:23, Reply)
Yeah but...
When I bump into peripherals, I just act like I know what happened and they generally stay vague. People only enjoy it if they think they're the ones telling you something awful that you didn't know.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:28, Reply)
That's quite a good plan!
I should try it sometime. But part of me needs to know what happened, otherwise my imagination and sense of dread will fill in the details, and that's always gonna be worse
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:31, Reply)
It might not be worse...

(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:36, Reply)
I dunno
I have a pretty twisted imagination
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:50, Reply)
alright fredz
what you wearing shoes indoors for then
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 17:59, Reply)
Cos
It's fucken cold. That's why I have 2 pairs of socks on. Also, the holes in both pairs overlap to make sure there's no sock gaps.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:01, Reply)
What colour DMs?

(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:08, Reply)
Black
I used to have a pair that I tried to paint, but it went kind of wrong. So i'm just sticking with black.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:10, Reply)
I have 3 pairs of genuine DMs
and a mock pair of black ones.

My favourites are my white ones that look like ice-skating boots, but I love my classic unisex purple ones :)
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:13, Reply)
I'm crap with shoes
I have my DM's, a pair of converse so old they aint realy shoes anymore and a pair of very old skate trainers. I keep meaning to get a pair of posh shoes, but my DM's usualy do ok for weddings/interveiws/funerals and the like.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:15, Reply)
I just arranged my shoes.
I could list them, but I'll go with the 4 red pairs, piano key pumps, brogues, and black with gems on.
Any more description, and it just gets too much :P
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:17, Reply)
These are on my Amazon wishlist
because they are fabulous, but I'd like a pair of the flat ones too.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:17, Reply)
Somehow I doubt they'd suit me...
Think i'll stick to guys shoes! I'd break my neck in heels i reckon
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:19, Reply)
Ok, WANT.

(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:20, Reply)
Don't you though?
They shall be my birthday present from the parents, even if they don't know it yet.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:34, Reply)
Ah still have my first DMs. Green.
Then my second. Black. My favourite DM types now are my black extra thick soled Grinders. Steel caps and stitching over the toe. Smart but kick-arse.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:26, Reply)
gawd i remember my first pair
i wanted cherry but the old man bought me black ones
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:10, Reply)
My first pair were floral
Then I got a tartan pair. I loved those.

I had black Mary-Jane flat types for school too :)
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:12, Reply)
I kind of wanted some of those black/white checkered ones
But I couldn't find em, and by the time I tracked a pair down, everyone I knew was wearing them. If I can find a decent 2nd hand pair I might have a go at customising them again...
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:14, Reply)
mine were steel toecaps...i think i still have them
hahaha FLASHBACKS OF GRUNGE CENTRE PARTINGS AND VESTS WITH LONG SKIRTS
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:14, Reply)
Some of my friends went through the grunge phase
I am happy to say I never did, and now am at the stage where someone said I looked like a young Vera Lynn. And anything with shoulder pads.
(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:16, Reply)

(, Sat 14 Nov 2009, 18:18, Reply)
Man, you've just described about everyone I used to hang out with at school
and a fair number of people I hang around with now.
