It's midnight, and I'm going fishing at 5am to try and qualify for the trout Masters tournament. And if you don't care, then don't fucking post, or you can tell me how shit my life is! You should see the lake though, it's fucking stunning, especially as th esun is coming up!

It was fucking astounding, it really was ;-)
it was like so awesome I'm gonna make some more duck confit next weekend just so I can make another toasty.

And yes, it has been a litle quiet here the last day or so, probably coz of the kerfuffle earlier in the week.

I only take home what I'm going to eat,
otherwise it's catch and release. I don't see the point in having a freezer stuffed full of trout when it's a hobby and can go catch it anytime.

I wonder how many people on this site know how much money can be won in a masters tournament. From what I've read, it sounds as if the top people make a great deal of money.

I placed 9th in todays tourney,
but didn't qualify for the Masters as it was a weekend thing and more bigger fish were caught yesterday. (I did win $156 though!)
