What about the decor?
I like lots of deep red and gold colours in an Indian restaurant and some modern Indian music tinkling in the background but no singing. My favorite local Indian has a huge flat screen TV to watch when the person I'm sitting with starts to bore me.

Were the poppodums nice and crisp?

Did you get free sweets?

These are far more important things to think about.

It was very nicely painted and with a wooden floor
and to be honest I didn't really look at the decor, I was more interested in getting lots of spicy meat down my throat.
