THIS oh god, this
I leant one book out to a friend, went to her house shortly after, saw it on the fucking floor of her room among clothes, shoes, bathing suits, sand and panties, I cried a little inside.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:59, 5 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
then cunted her in the fuck
The same thing happened to me with a load of New Fads 12" i had lent to a CUNT. Went into his room to see some lying ON THE FLOOR, it looked as though he been ice skating on them. Took my vinyl and left, a broken man. Never spoke to the CUNT again

Noel lent me a book and I am treating it with the care it deserves.
And when I've finished reading it I shall send it back forthwith. I would be mortified if I damaged or lost it.

Kaol just sent me one a while ago
it was very generous of him

I had a very rare and expensive book about Keith Moon
that was practically stolen from me by a drunken Swedish bird, which she subsequently denied 'borrowing', the cunt.

Moon the Loon by Dougal Butler. Long, long out of print and fucking hilarious.

That's the fucker
Not as expensive as it used to be, bizarrely - mine was £25. Mind you it was nearly mint condition. Comes with a glossary of Butler's cockney phrases, so that the American readers could translate.

EDIT highest price on Amazon £148!

I don't mind so much about losing books
I can always buy them again, but for some reason when people don't return CDs I lose my shit... I could just as easily replace them, but it annoys me more than anything else!?
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:15, Reply)
I've lost a few which really bug me
the first Mr Scruff album, the first Korn album, and others I'm probably not aware of

not as annoying as losing my copy of Soul Music by Terry Pratchett though. I know that one of two people have it, and they both deny it.

See I know my friend Ana stole one of my
Robert Palmer albums, I've seen it on her bloody shelf, but when questioned she denies all knowledge... bitch. I don't speak to her anymore anyway... not because of the blatant CD theft but for the years of mental anguish she caused me! Booo!

Indeed
She was always a dick, it just took me over 12 years to realise it!
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:26, Reply)
I don't really know anyone like that
some of my mates have gone through phases of being dicks, but they all tend to come out the other side again.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:30, Reply)
That's good that your friends have managed to sort themselves out! :)
She may well come out of the other side and be normal again, but frankly, after donating over half my life to her 'issues' I can't be bothered anymore. She's one of those people that's always got a drama, but if you have a problem, its never as important as hers so she’s not interested in listening.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:34, Reply)
I had a mate like that.
We grew up together, but then when I moved out, he lived out of my pocket for a few years, everything I brought was double to pay for him... Fags, food, going out. Just because I was earning money and he was at collage. Didn't hear thank-you once. He then got into a crowd of people and came worst, even smoking weed in my flat when I told him that wasn't on.

I onced heard him tell his mum "I hope you die soon so I can get the inhertance", he wasn't joking.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 15:23, Reply)
you should've taken it back
that cunt
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:35, Reply)
It was just too awkward to do it
Strange as it sounds, if I took it I would have felt like the thief.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:38, Reply)
and she probably would've done her best to make you feel that way as well
I hate bitches

Indeedy
Me too!
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 15:14, Reply)
I really don't feel that way about books/dvds/cds/most-things.
Some video games are like that, but only because they're expensive to replace.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:23, Reply)
I have a couple of favorite books that are all tatty and old but I wouldn't replace them with new.
They're like old friends.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:27, Reply)
all 400 of my books are like that :-/
books are my biggest vice, even more so than pot
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:28, Reply)
I don't like the idea of someone disrespecting me and my property. To them it may be just a book and it could be replaced
but to me it's much much more. Those books have helped me immeasurably, and they have far more sentimental value than a movie or a cd.
Some things are just more important than others to different people.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 14:33, Reply)
Don't get me wrong, I totally agree that respecting property is important
And I can see how if you love something like that, you would hate to see it go, esspecialy to someone who won't get the same love. But I look at it like making a hood meal for someone, that I've had all the pleasure I can get from it so get pleasure in giving someone else pleasure, if that makes sence.
