Pfft
I heard they went for tapas the other night.

with mabazaritchie's tastes I'd have thought they'd go for an indian
or moroccan

I heard he's a real fan of Gulash
and other eastern european stews.
(, Thu 19 Nov 2009, 13:49, Reply)
sorry
I realise that Gulash is in fact a soup and not a stew. So fuck you.

understood

(, Thu 19 Nov 2009, 13:53, Reply)
I was going to try and make the argument about goulash being a transliteration
but it's Hungarian in origin (I think) and they use the roman alphabet so it isn't at all.
(, Thu 19 Nov 2009, 13:54, Reply)
Actually
"The name originates from the Hungarian gulyás" (taken form Wikipedia, I know it's probably a lie) so actually Gulash would be the more logical spelling.

Hungarian
is a shitty language. It's related to Finnish and Estonian but no other western languages. And it's a bugger to understand.

Paprika is nice though. Which is just as well, as the Magyars put it in every dish.

Nor is it related to a good number of non-western ones.
Yer Sanskrit, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Pashtu, Farsi, even Tocharian... all of 'em Indo-European.

But the Hungarians just had to be different.

Sorry, that was a pish attempt at science humour

HAHAHA
that actually made me do a proper laugh. But my feet didn't move a bit.

Did any wee come out?

(, Thu 19 Nov 2009, 13:51, Reply)
No, but I do really want another cup of tea
which in turn will make me need a wee.
(, Thu 19 Nov 2009, 13:53, Reply)
At which point
your feet will move to take you to the toilet.
