Going to a christening,
WHAT PRESENT SHOULD I BUY???
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 15:56, 2 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
Get a massive dildo

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 15:57, Reply)
Or that...
it depends how traditional you want to be I suppose!?
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 15:59, Reply)
Fuck tradition
the baby is being indoctrinated into a violent cult responsible for the deaths of hundreds of of thousands of people and the destruction of thousands of years of culture all over the world. Why should people get upset just because they get given a toy to have fun with when they're older?
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:01, Reply)
Why indeed
well there's your answer Chompy
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:03, Reply)
Yeah there is all that
but on the plus side, there'll be a buffet.
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:14, Reply)
Oooooh
tiny cocktail sausages of joy!
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:29, Reply)
I can't wait, I fucking love buffets me.

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:36, Reply)
Me too!
I especially enjoy those tiny burgers you can get from M&S, oh and spring rolls, whenever we have a buffet lunch at work we get amazing duck spring rolls! *drools*
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:42, Reply)
hell yeah spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce,
cheese, crunchy bread rolls, ham, maybe some salmon.
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:55, Reply)

ahhh mooch?

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 15:58, Reply)
I think a tenner...
what was your budget?

I got one for the flowergirl at my wedding and she loved it, as did all the grown ups that tried to steal it from her! :D
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:00, Reply)
They should have been ashamed of themselves
turning up to your wedding. Disgusting.
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:05, Reply)
Indeed
One of the thieves was my bridesmaid – scandalous
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:08, Reply)
That's fair enough,
less than £20 really.
I was thinking of getting either a cuddly toy or a book or something.
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:07, Reply)
Books are good too
For my christening I got a little box full of Beatrix Potter books… I also got a complete set of Mr Men books too, the original ones though, no Mr Speedy or whatever the hell they’re called nowadays.

Bottle of champagne which they are only allowed to open on their 18th birthday
Might need to tell the parents how to store it safely though
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:18, Reply)
My aunt and uncle are getting him that,
well it's whisky and it'll be his 21st when it "peaks"
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:25, Reply)
That's a good idea too!

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:25, Reply)
Champagne doesn't keep all that well for that length of time
especially in most peoples houses
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:28, Reply)
That's true. Go for a tasty Pinot instead

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:29, Reply)
Pinot is my bestest friend

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:34, Reply)
Grigio or Noir?

(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:36, Reply)
Both! But Grigio mostly
Makes me less sleepy than noir
(, Fri 20 Nov 2009, 16:46, Reply)
Preferably Noir
but I'm open to the possibility of grigio
