But overnight parking is something like £14 at Newcastle. Would get the local commuter service into Newcastle, but there are no trains that stop at the local station after we get back on Sunday. And the bus takes an hour.

It's just that the bus service takes in every fucking estate in our town, before winding its convoluted path to the big city.

I used to live just 10 minutes down the road in the next town, and the bus took 20 minutes.
