*judges, very harshly indeed*
You've been watching WHAT?

My guilty TV pleasure is Midsomer Murders. I KNOW it's twee, middle aged, middle class codswallop but whenever I'm channel surfing (in itself quite a rarity) and I see it's on, I find myself watching. There was an episode where someone was trying to sabotage some fucking village gardening contest. It really is that lame, and yet, sat in my grotty East End flat with its gasworks backdrop, the smug country village life holds a strange appeal.

And I'm fine thanks mate, you?

it's great, is Midsomer Murders.
Proper rainy afternoon TV.

like Poirot and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
But those aren't guilty pleasures. I'm not the least bit ashamed of watching those. Midsomer Murders I am, due to its unremitting shitness.

Ah, it appeals to my voyeuristic side
and I like a few of the people on their this year. Chill the fuck out man, it's not like I'm subscribing to Take a Break and Heat magazine.

I'm pretty good thanks. Finally got things moving with social/agencies/solicitors/schools and trying to arrange Christmas visits with various wings of family. All this grown-up shit still scares the crap out of me but at least I'm actually doing it now.

There'd probably be tax breaks and that but I think two mental exes would be too much for us to handle and I'd have to murder him on grounds of diminished responsibility to inherit his record collection.

Safety in numbers!
You could afford a better fortress if you pooled your resources.
It occurred to me the other day and I forgot to say.
I think it's a winning idea.
