Like the bastard in Peterborough on Sunday who decided to chuck himself in front of a train, thereby delaying my train and resulting in not getting home until nearly 11 o'clock at night.

Well yes
I nearly put my foot in it though. We were having general chit chat and banter with the guy sitting opposite about it - good old British gallows humour in the face of adversity. Just as I was about to say "well, you would if you lived in Peterborough", my filter kicked in and instead I asked him if he had far to travel.

Guess where he lived...?

(just outside of posh) to be fair I am biased being from Cambridge, anyone from Peterborough is a cnut, rogue or a scoundrel, apart from maybe Jimmy Bullard but lets be fair, not finding him amusing is like kicking puppies
