I think I've found a winner
"3) Close prisons and move the in-mates to abandoned mines [it will be cheaper to guard them when there is only one exit]."

here's the rest of it
"1) Cut pointless public sector jobs: e.g. equalities facilitators; 5-a-day facilitators; excess nannying regulations

2) No benefits for illegal migrants - they should be given a row boat and a map of the channel pointing them back to France.

3) Close prisons and move the in-mates to abandoned mines [it will be cheaper to guard them when there is only one exit].

4) Cut ID cards, NHS IT system, & the other hidden surveillance databases that monitor us all"

number 2 is business as usual for have your say, but they weren't doing too badly until they mentioned the other hidden surveillance databases.

Except for the fact that the jobs mentioned in point 1 don't exist.
There was the guy elected as mayor of, I think it may have been Hartlepool, or somewhere shit and up north, who's sole platform was gettin grid of pointless jobs in the council. Without realising that he had no legal right to do any of the things he was standing for.

the term "excess nannying regulations" is quite a good one
Mary Poppins would've been fucked if that guy got his way
