I'm in a good mood 'cos I cleaned my apartment today for the first time in about 5 weeks. It was a shit tip.
I'm also going to venture out tomorrow and try and do a half hour in the shops - the only places I go is my local bar, the liquor store and fishing. Anywhere else scares me, and I don't want to turn into one of those people who never goes out.

5 days in Barcelona and 10 in Tenerife.
Barcelona will be freezing, but I'm so looking forward to go to the beach in Tenerife.
Are you doing anything nice for yours?

It's just like Australia, but they speak funny.
So it's just like Australia.

If you go to the north is very green and warm in summer but freezing cold in winter. Very pretty mountains and great hot food like stews and so.
In the south it's very hot in summer and as cold in winter as in England. They prefer simple things and enjoy beach, cold beer and tapas.
In the Canary Islands, we have more or less the same temperature all year round (no seasons for us, the Africans). Nice beaches, the tallest mountain in Spain and fantastic food.
It's not at all like Australia.
It's not full of English people, apart from the turistic places where I would never recommend you to go.
We love being outdoors and meeting people. We prefer big cities than small villages, as I can't stand loneliness.
All that said in general, of course. There are different things/people almost everywhere.

Sorry about the job thing. What do you work in? Do you think you'll have it easy to find something else.
Anyway, just take it like a break. I wouldn't mind having a couple of months off (if I knew that I'd have work after that...)
