Put the heating on?

how did I not see that coming?
the heating is on in the rest of the house, but we barely use that room so don't heat it. It's also full of surfboards so I don't want to expose them to fairly extreme changes in temperature.

that's what I'm doing now
but I can't be arsed to move my amp because it is heavy, so am having to play the electric guitar not plugged in
