but it's so fucking cold in my back bedroom that I can't move my fingers very fast, and my feet have gone numb :-(
I've had to resort sitting at the computer in my bedroom with my electric guitar not plugged in to learn some new songs.
Any suggestions?
edit: to clarify, the suggestions I'm looking for are for songs to learn, not how to make myself warm, or otherwise pass the time

the heating is on in the rest of the house, but we barely use that room so don't heat it. It's also full of surfboards so I don't want to expose them to fairly extreme changes in temperature.

but I can't be arsed to move my amp because it is heavy, so am having to play the electric guitar not plugged in

I would love a rock'n'roll cover of the theme to Gummy Bears.

and we can't do covers because our other guitarist/singer can barely remember the songs he writes, let alone other people's.
I will have a go at the tab for the gummi bears tune you posted earlier though, see how easy it will be to turn into rock

:-(
edit: found it now, and I reckon it could make a good rock tune, something like Dragonforce :-D

I quite like the blues, I think... I think Eric Clapton is my favorite guitarest (I admit that a lot of people don't think he's the best, but I think he's _my_ favorite).

and when I'm with my mate who has we are working on our project, but I will keep it in mind and work on the rhythm and one day I will play it for you.
Clapton is a very good guitarist. I don't care for much of his stuff personally though. Cream were great, but not when he was singing.
I'm not sure who my favourite guitarist is. I would've said Kirk Hammett from Metallica, but he has put me off by being a bit of an arse. I then would've said Joe Bonamassa, but I've gone off his latest album, leaving me without a hero...

I've only heard them once on the radio, and it was an acustic set on Talk Sport, he played "Walking in the shadows" (or something like that), and I had to grab his albums straight away. I was disapointed that he hasn't done an acustic album.
I really like the MTV Live/accoustic album he did (forgot what MTV call their accoustic albums). Lyric wise, his stuff is nothing spectular, but it's consistant easy listening.

That interview on Talk Sport was the only time I've heard of him... but saying that, I don't really listen to music radio or telivision.

he's got a show on Planet Rock which is pretty good.
That song Sloe Gin is completely awesome. I'd love to be able to play guitar the way he does on that song. That's my aim.

let's list the facts:
1. I have a beard (possible suggestion: ZZ Top)
2. I'm smug (possible suggestion: something by Sting)
3. I like rock music (possible suggestion: something by a rock band)

stating a fact about someone doesn't really reveal a lot about a person or what they'd want to learn

So? You don't play guitar with your feet, unless you're a flid. You're not a flid are you, Mr Vipros?
