Anyone remember a dark, twisted animated series that appeared on bbc2 a good 10 years ago about a guy who IIRC was a single father dentist?

wikipedia tells a different story about the plot!

remember watching this cartoon at around 15 years of age and loving it! it always seemed to be accompanied by rex the runt and the uggs (animated cavemen not fur lined chav boots)
