My old dear had depression about a year back
Absolutely horrible. Prior to that I thought it was all a load of bollocks and that taking one's life was a horribly selfish act. Until you experience someone who feels that way first hand or, god forbid, feel that way yourself, it's very hard to understand or to get your head round. In my opinion.

Seeing my mum barely say a word for six months and cry almost constantly was the worst experience of my life. And I've seen Hard-Fi live.

I've been that way myself, driving in the car thinking if I should just turn off the road and drive into a tree
then I look at my eyes in the rear view mirror and say "never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you..."
