I always know where my kids are.
Usually chained to the washing line. So they can at least run up and down the garden. It's called "progressive parenting".

I'm guessing the girl in question was referring to either miscarriage or cot death.

Like BGB said, not very nice but not really a taboo in my big book of taboo.
