Always debated whether to dabble with acid
But it seems from other peoples experiences that it's completely at random whether you have the time of your life or go dofuckinglally.

Not sure whether it's worth the risk.

it'll change you. It really is something profound. Perhaps not worth bothering.

If you do try it, take the tiniest amount, about a 16th of what other people are having (don't take it on your own), preferably with lots of booze and a bit of coke to get your confidence up, and have some valium handy for the comedown. Even then, trying it for the first time is like playing russian roulette with your mind.

I know a chap
who did his fair share of acid.

Over the course of a year he went from being perfectly normal to not being able to function properly from one day to the next.

A mutual friend once told me that he and a few others went out to a drum and bass all-nighter. A good time was had by all, except for acid man, who kinda stood there a bit and hardly moved, without speaking. My mate turned to him after about an hour or two, a bit pissed off about having to deal with the misery, and said 'what's the matter, aren't you enjoying yourself?' Acid man replied with the only thing that he said that night:

"I just saw the devil, and he told me I was going to die."

He hadn't even taken anything. I'm glad I wasn't that close a friend of his, cause I couldn't be putting up with that everytime I wanted to go out.

I shall
be giving it a wide fucking berth then!

I've never said no to anything before but that might be pushing it for me. I'll stick to the cocktail of things that make me want to dance for hours on end instead I think.
