Boffins, I need YOU
My super gay vista powered tower has gone shit... My keyboard puts in extra letters, so I have to use the clicky screen one. I checked the settings and it all says UK English.

Do I need a new keyboard? Or will a restore factory settings work, or will it reset the whole thing?!

keyboards are so cheap
get down to argos or something. sounds like you might have spilled something on your keyboard? happened to mine twice.

It is almost certainly a keyboard problem, probably a spillage.

Go get a new one and assuming that works wash the old one under warm water then leave it to dry for about a week, it'll probably then work fine so you'll have a spare in case it happens again.

You can also try turning your keyboard upside down and tapping the back - sometimes I find bits of chocolate cookie fall out.
