Will depend upon bitrate you choose.
PS Can anyone recommend a good freeware ripper? Audiograbber isn't quite up to the job now I'd like to convert at 320kb.

There are lots of good forums with info on how to set it up to rip in VBR
which gives you the best balance of compression to sounds quality. Alternatively if space isn't an issue, try converting your .wav files to FLAC, an album ends up being about 3-400MB but it's a lossless format.
