'A Forest' is an excellent tune'
'Killing an Arab' is alright.

But they have made hundreds of totally shit records - by far the worse is 'Lovecats' which is a truly terrible, self-consciously 'kooky' mountain of gaiety that reminds me of stupid 'alternative' girls from the 80s that smelled of TCP.

Robert Smith was at his best when he was in Siouxsie & The Banshees for a bit: their live 'Nocturne' LP is absolutely brilliant. In the accompanying DVD you can see a young Martin Degville at the start, who ended up in Sigue Sigue Sputnik with Tony James from Generation X.

I love the bass on Lovecats
Their darker stuff is generally better though, Disintegration is a splendid album

and their song Burn from the Crow soundtrack is sublime

We watched Siouxsie's Dreamshow at the weekend.
Fucking love it. The full orchestra backing her is brilliant.

That was good.
And to be honest I still 'would'.

I saw her and Budgie on the tube about ten years ago
and definitely would have then. In front of Budgie. On the District Line.

Re. Siouxsie
I definitely would. Now and in her punk days.
