Do you mean it's one of those that you pull right out and put the fuse wire in?
Mine's one of those. Take the actual clunky fuse plastic thing out and take it to a hardware shop and the man will tell you which one you need.
Only trouble being, if there's a fault that makes it happen again, you're still screwed.
Don't you know anyone who can help?

I went to B&Q
he had a beard, I assumed he'd know about fuses. It's all about twisting the right wire over the right screw.
