Kasabian and The Music for my 21st birthday
Stood in the VIP area, Tom Meighan walked past grinning full on at me and touched my arm, The Music came on and I love them, they had a massive drum kit and the whole band played a set on them, it was amazing.
edit: I think it was so great because it was the first concert that I had been to that I had really really wanted to go to, everything else before and since has been more about friends asking me to go. None of my friends listen to the same music as I do so I can't go with them and have as good of a time.

The Music is one of the most massively fucking shit names in the history of music
what kind of completely ego-maniacal wankers call their band "The Music"

Have you seen a picture of them?
Those ego-maniacal wankers called their band "The Music" Their frontman was even uglier than Richard Ashcroft.

I have no idea what their music is like

CLUE: it's shit
3rd-rate Jam copyists. Avoid.

I love how similar
and yet completely different our taste in music is sometimes :)

That's the magic of personal taste, isn't it?
Of course, mine is superior, but hey....

Yesssss
of course it is. I think I'd like to discuss politics, society and the arts with you in well stocked hostelry. After putting the world to rights for a few hours I'm sure you'll see things my way.

And if we agree to disagree, I'll remove the brick from my overcoat and redecorate your face.
(, Fri 12 Mar 2010, 16:27, Reply)
I'd like that too
But I'll bring one of my ancestral swords with me just in case you try to say The Music are anything other than a coven of benders.
(, Fri 12 Mar 2010, 16:37, Reply)
"I say, old boy. 'The Music'? Coven of benders if you ask me."
"Most certainly. Barkeep, two more drams of Tamnavulin if you please."
(, Fri 12 Mar 2010, 16:45, Reply)
That's pretty much exactly how I imagine it

Dunno about you.
But other than a few singles I really hate The Jam and it amazes me that Paul Weller is revered. After that he went on a downhill run that continues to this day. And he looks like a skinny Neil Young.
Awful.
Monty. Add him to the Bowie, Bono hit list.
(, Fri 12 Mar 2010, 16:23, Reply)
I hate him.
Rat-faced little oik. Shit music, annoying man. The Style Council alone justifies kicking his fucking head in.

He's on the list mate.

They're not bad
A bit middle of the road indie-rock, but very upbeat bouncy and good with it.
