and wish I'd seen them in their heyday. Saw them in Leeds in 2006, which wasn't the same really.

Still, I love the Utterly Bastard Groovy t-shirt I bought.

First & Last & Always is a great LP
Ever heard their early bootleg stuff - covers of Ghost Rider etc - not half bad? A damn sight better than the fucking Mission who I did see a couple of times. I liked Bauhaus a lot in those days - strange as they were big Bowie fetishists...I have the Lagartija Nick single at home.

The quality is shite but it's quite something to hear the Sisters rocking out 'Jolene' and 'Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight'.

And their cover of Emma is a work of beauty.
