and it was sweet. He did it because he knew I wanted to end it, but didn't want to hurt him. So he took the matter in his own hands and said we should end it

All the other relationship breakups have been by me. But I've never done them nastily. As far as I know anyway

way back in the day I had a myspace and was talking to this fella
we were not together and he kept posting comments on my page saying things like "I want to give you love forever" etc
it totally freaked me out
so I try to ask him about them, and he's all "I just thought we were friends" and acting like I'm stupid.
Then everyone hates me because I apparently broke his heart.
Turns out the comments were quotes from The Notebook.
