It can't be that grim or else we'd all be moving down south.
I love the north. I love the landscape, the people, the weather, everything.

that's what I love about the south (well, the south west anyway)
basically, everywhere is the same.

but devon is better

The only thing you have in Devon is some nice coastline.

and the moors
and really it's two sets of really quite different and awesome coastline

I say this in all seriousness but it's an emotional attachment I have to the north.
I know there are some nice places, people, landscape down south but my heart lies up here.

which have less in comparison to similar sized places.
