If these all measure up, then I consider the personality. I talk a lot, so they have to be able to hold a conversation, otherwise I might as well talk to a brick wall. And ability to make me laugh.

once when I went from shoulder length hair to short
the stylist started at the top/front. After a while she was done there and said, "If this was the 80s we'd be finished." We laughed and I was given the chance to look at my mullet, it was fun but I felt a lot more at ease once the whole thing was done.
