was in the car with a mate heading from Exeter to our homes.

We saw two really bright lights, one directly above the other, at a height of a 3 or 4 storey house. It was some distance away and moving in the same direction as us and at the same speed, then suddenly it was above us and moving perpendicular.

The airport is nearby, but through investigations we established that there was no traffic that night, particularly at 12:50am.

I'm not claiming it was aliens, but it was an object, it was flying and we couldn't identify it.

I've seen enough planes and helicopters at night to know that it wasn't one, or at least very much not an ordinary one.
