When I was at uni
my friend in the states sent me a package with 6 boxes of lucky charms in. I was over the moon, she sent them by surface mail so they took three months to get to me. I ate Lucky Charms every day until one day they were gone. I have not had any in ten years. I'm a sad panda.

Get your arse down to Selfridges
They're about £6 a box, but it's nice to treat yourself every so often. I went to Florida when I was a teenager and binged on them all week and then brought as many boxes back as I could fit in the suitcase.

there's probably a website where you can have them sent to you

At £4.95 delivery!
Your Lucky Charms will cost a total of £12.40. It's probably worth ordering more.

Surface mail?
Is it instead possible to transmit cereal via underground tunnels?
(, Thu 6 May 2010, 10:00, Reply)
Surface mail is simply the alternative to air mail.
What that has to do with tunnels I don't know. The Ocean has a surface.

I'd just never heard regular mail described as such
And wondered if there was scope for a sort of sub-surface mail, involving tunnels which transmit cereal. Or other stuff, depending on your needs.

Surface mail is for Non urgent international mail
and its too big/expensive for air mail you send it surface mail, see. cereal tunnels direct to my home would be awesome, maybe a cereal tap next to my water taps.
