Which ones are they?
My doc martens are the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes. Also totally worth it. They're like my babies.

What were they like?

To get good quality, especially boots. Never get fake leather!

I have a parka
with raccoon fur trim on the hood. It's fucking lovely. I once got on the tube wearing, only to find that an animal rights march had entirely filled the carriage. Oops.

Fake leather shoes are more expensive than real leather (for comparable quality shoes)
