why don't you just make your own chips from baking potatoes?Fat cut chips are always delicious

I do, but in a non-industrial fryer, they take at least 40 minutes (that you can't just leave), and I don't trust myself after a night out to operate a pan filled with boiling oil.If I'm going to do something special, like a steak, then I'd do my own chips, which are always amazing.
