I was embarrassed by the Cambridge crowdwho just stood there barely moving, barely shouting/cheering. I mostly go watch bands in That Big London these days and their crowds know how to show appreciation.
That said, J Mascis still can't sing and needs to turn his guitar down (damn, it was loud) but he can play it like a demon. Stand in drummer was great, they were good value for it. Top night. I got drunked most awesomely.

Both times I went to see them they were terrible......and painful to listen to. Love their recorded stuff though.
