Talking about grandmothers
My father's mother was great cooking. I regret not having paid more attention when she tried to teach me, and not having noted down every single step.

I know my mother regrets not teaching us German as we we're growing up.
But as a single mother of three for most of the time, it's understandable.

my mate is swiss
and his teaching his boy french as well as english

however, after one day at daycare he came home and caned loads of juice. hadn't had a drink all day because he'd been asking for one in french, and the staff didn't get it....
