I've lost Darwell-Smith's
Architecture in Rome as well. Which is valued at fucking £270. I HAVE to find it

That'd be a nightmare

if I don't find it
it means I can't go to Rome. I've looked everywhere though and simply cannot find it :(

Argh my mother is kicking up a fuss about me doing Rome alone

You could say you'll take random people you met online
She won't think alone is such a bad idea any more

Oh no, don't let her
I'm sure it'll be incredible.

If you need somewhere to stay, I think the English College in Rome do rooms. It's pretty in the centre and being in a priest's school might make things better :P

Yeah
I know a few people who want to go, but I don't want to be forced into compromise over what to do/see etc, especially as I'd be the only historian. I might meet up with them though. The accommodation in hostels is relatively expensive though
