Coke
in the library.
I just paid my £10.80 in library fines. The fine for per day late is 10p.
Whoops. Well, there were 8 of them.

So no food for me, that was my food budget.

I want a pair of brown leather shoes. I like them. But I don't wear trousers so that' ok.

You're naked from the waist down in the library?
...which library?
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:13, Reply)
I wear dresses and tights
I now have a coucple of pairs of shorts, and some playsuits.

No trousers though.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:16, Reply)
I figured as much
but I like my explanation better
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:18, Reply)
I'm wearing leggings today
WHAT IS LAMPITO WEARING TODAY?!
find out tomorrow what she's wearing...tomorrow.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:23, Reply)
We can't stand the tension
TELL US NOW
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:29, Reply)
Probably something nice
It'll probalby be a dress, or maybe shorts and a floaty top.

Light shoes, maybe the red ones with the ankle straps.
Or I might go to the exam naked.
WHO KNOWS
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:32, Reply)
Playsuits?
Sounds kinky.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:18, Reply)
Like shorts and a top attatched
or a dress with legs made instead of a skirt.

Not very kinky now, is it.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:22, Reply)
In PVC or rubber
With a zip going from front of the neck down and under to the small of the back.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:25, Reply)
I accidently zippered my tit trying on a basque the other day
I'd hate to think of what would happen if yu tried to zip that up to hastily o_O
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:27, Reply)
You'd probably remove something

(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:28, Reply)
I'm supposed to be working
and all I can think of is metal teeth enclosing around delicate flesh...

AAAAAARGGGGGGHHHHHH
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:33, Reply)
Playsuits?
With bottom flaps to poo through?
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:18, Reply)
No no no
they ARE a bugger to piss in though, you have to get semi naked and if you're in the pub toilets of a really really dodgy pub in January with a broken window, it can get quite cold.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:22, Reply)
I'm not sure I could wear dresses that often, I'd have to shave my legs, like, everyday
cripes
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:25, Reply)
I wear tights.
Like, all the time.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:27, Reply)
still, don't think I could do it
maybe I should try, start buying a dress every week until I have a substantial amount, however it'd be frowned upon at work and you can't really wear trainers with a dress can you?
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:29, Reply)
No, unless you're Lily Allen
hence a twat.

But a couple of dresses are nice. It's very easy to dress yourself in the mornign :D
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:34, Reply)
inneresting
I just hate wearing fancy shoes
thank fuck for ballet shoes
however my puppy chewed my favorite pair :(
oh man, time to go shopping
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:44, Reply)
Ballet shoes and dresses look good
but I have quite narrow feet in places (or used to...) so they always used to fall out.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:47, Reply)
damn you for making me want to go buy pretty dresses

(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:49, Reply)
WElcome to my life. I'm a compulsive dress shopper

(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:50, Reply)
Our library is 20p per day
or 40p if it's been reserved by another customer.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:14, Reply)
I bet the library
just pretend it's been reserved by someone else to get more cash out of you
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:16, Reply)
We can't do that
It is automatically calculated by ze system when a person places a hold.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:22, Reply)
It ranges
Can be 50p per day with 1 week loan, short loan (loaned for hours) is something like £1 an hour or something :/

But as no one wants to read "Medieval Latin Verse" or "Commentary on St Augustine", I'm all dandy.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:16, Reply)
when I was at uni
we were told that you couldn't graduate if you had overdue library books, or outstanding fines.

load of nonsense.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:17, Reply)
Oh you thieving lot
I like my library. I like my little corner of it.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:18, Reply)
Actually it's not nonsense...
Our system 'talks' to central admin, and if fines reach a certain level just prior to graduation... ZIP!
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:23, Reply)
they put a block on my card
in the Classics library :(
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:24, Reply)
We have ze power
I'm benevolent though.
Unless you're a prick.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:27, Reply)
I'm always nice to librarians
and the one yesterday knocked ten pounds off my total fine. Which meant £36.50 instead
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:27, Reply)
I'd have rounded it down to ten or twenty

(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:29, Reply)
I wish you were my librarian
since it was a genuine mistake as well. I was ill over Easter and in Ireland, and I've been ill half of term as well
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:30, Reply)
Without a doctor's not they might not have given you the time of day
But £20 is the biggest punishment we're likely to hand out, unless it's for a replacement.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:33, Reply)
I have a missing book
valued at £270 :(
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:35, Reply)
Oh my poor girl
Please try to find a cheaper one, They'll accept it, but ask them first.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:36, Reply)
am searching :(
everywhere just tells me 'limited availability'

Would they accept it if it was a slightly different edition?
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:51, Reply)
Ask em
Maybe as a last resort
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:52, Reply)
haha
I got out the Commentary on St Augustine last week.

I still haven't found this Darwell-Smith book, and I don't have £270 to pay to the library
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:17, Reply)
Can't you find one on AbeBooks or something?
And "pretend" the cover fell off?

I can't find my copy of Petronius. But that's not due til the 14th so I'm ok.
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:19, Reply)
Nowhere sells it
disadvantage of one of the biggest libraries in England, is they have all sorts of odd pieces hanging around
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:20, Reply)
Eeeeek
I'm sure it'll turn up. Have you advertised?
(, Wed 2 Jun 2010, 13:21, Reply)
Yup
took your advice and did a poster. Haven't had any news yet
