Thank you
I think I'll go and talk with some, and see if they can draw it for me as well on my skin, as I'm rubbish drawing. It's so clear in my mind... why can't my hand just make it the same!!??

some tattooists will let you feel what the needle is like without any ink
so you can see if you can take it for any length of time.

Good to know
I'll ask before hand.

I know exactly what you mean about the mind and the hand!
might have a go at drawing what I want on and see how it looks. kind of a difficult place though.

I suspect it might be painful to get tattooed as well

:-P
I want one on the front of shoulder. pretty much on the outside end of the collarbone

I know where you mean
And I've seen some stunning ones there. Some Japanese work flows nicely into shoulder caps/sleeves from there too

I'm after something similar to the symbol on the front of this
www.garthnix.com/sabriel_files/image005.jpg

which comes from a book with a bunch of similar symbols. ultimately, the plan would be to have a myriad of these symbols on back, chest and upper arm.

Nice!
If you look at Borneo Rose tattoos, a lot of them tend to be in the same place you are thinking of.
