Coming to my house for tea is a must.
Avoid Redruth it's shit. Mousehole and St Ives are beautiful, despite being pretty famous Newquay is a shithole. If you need any advice whilst here in Cornwall land you may call upon yours truely. Bude used to be great and even had a short lived music festival but is now quite dull. You are staying so far north you might as well be in Devon but you aren't too far from Tintagel which is worth a visit. If you do decide to take the trip south, Land End is good, Penzance is shit. Perranporth is fairly nice at this time of year. For nightlife newquay is ok just don't get stabbed. Avoid St Austell I hear Clendrix lives nearby! If you drive through Exeter mind the smug cloud. Vippers may be around.

My chin is susceptible to doubling up

Boscastle and Tintagel are both definitely worth visiting.
Beautiful, rugged coast, great food and drinks, nice people. Highly recommended A+ would buy again.

Can't be arsed to read that.
Mousehole is a phontic rendering of the Minoan word for harbour.
The Minoans - and Greeks - traded for tin roundbouts.
