I think one needs to hear Stephen Fry calling Tim McInnerny
"a complete arse"
in order to fully appreciate its comical effect. Though I accept it may not be as funny if English isn't your first language.

I like Stephen Fry. I'm getting better at understanding English humour. I love Blackadder and QI among others.
