not sure why that is familiar though. looking on google streetview and it didn't look like it was in the sort of place that I thought it was.

did you know the best Cornish Pasties come from Devon - just down the road from Vipros. Well, what passes for a road in Devon.

but the best pasty I've had came from my local Sainsburys. admittedly they are made by a butchers or something. WC Rowe if you are interested.

this was quite swanky looking, but a family run place (I think) and very reasonable.

they gave us shots of some sugar cane liquor after the meal. possibly. I'd consumed at least two bottles of red wine on my own at that point.

I was so drunk while I was there
I can't remember locations of anything, despite eating at that restaurant 2 nights in a row.

the mrs and I first pretty much got together in Barcelona. Nothing happened aside from the holding of hands, but that was the start.

Yeah, the chap is Catalan and fiercely proud of his city
So always takes us to amazing places, some which you would never go into cos they look a bit grotty, but serve amazing food.

My second choice city top live in after London, but my language skills are non-existant.
