That sounds so 80sthat it actually gives me a headache. I still maintain that navy blue 'gym knickers' with white go-faster stripes were worse. Especially since they were made entirely of this weird thick synthetic canvas type stuff. I was made to wear them for cross country because, and I quote 'perhaps the shame of having those chubby thighs on show will spur you to lose some weight'.
