Since Monty is away
Why Glee is actually good

What's your favourite song featured in a tv show?

Why "Glee" is this century's "Twin Peaks"
because it's over-hyped wank full of mannered performances.

with the added disadvantage of being choc-full of shit covers of shit songs

^ I agree with this
It's shit, just full of creepy stereotyped people singing bad music.

Also, I haven't seen, and have no intention of seeing, either

I love the "I haven't seen it, but the cool kids hate it so I do too" vibe

It's more I dont watch much TV
So it would have to come considerably more reccomended by people whose tastes I generally agree with for me to watch. I dont think it's bad, I'm just indifferent

how about the
'I'm so selfconsciously ironic' wankers who make a big deal about liking it
(, Thu 10 Jun 2010, 23:59, Reply)
Or the 'I'm so selfconsciously ironic' wankers who make a big deal about not liking it
they are out there too...
(, Fri 11 Jun 2010, 0:04, Reply)
how's it being ironic
not to jump onto a bandwagon of wank?

Liking shit tv is ironic, not liking shit tv is sensible

I find judging programs on their merits to be rather more useful
when you become an adult you'll develop these skills.

A lovely technique that
very adult in itself.
Edit: I've already judged the merits of the programme for myself thanks. It's still shit

Are we allowed to count Dr Horrible?
If so, Brand New Day for tune, My Eyes for cleverness.

If not, the scrubs musical episode.

I'm a fan of Bad Horse
He's the thoroughbred of sin, you know.

I saw bits and pieces of the first few episodes of Glee
but I never really got into it.

However, I will thump in the kidneys anyone who slags it off for one simple reason; I was channel hopping one night, Glee popped up, the ridiculously good-looking teenage ensemble were singing 'Jump!' by Van Halen, they were smiling sickeningly, bouncing all over the place, frolicking like they hadn't a care in the world... ...While the wheelchair guy just sat in the background holding up a big placard with 'Jump' written on it. Probably the most inadvertantly funny thing I ever saw on tv
