I had half a slice of toast before running out the door because I was late for school.
it'll be better tomorrow because I'll have the time to finish my breakfast. :D

I couldn't be late for school because there was only one bus where I used to live and it waited for you, which was useful.

I drive to school now.
But I overslept and woke up at 8 am, and it's a 20 minute drive to and from school, and I basically got up, shoved on my uniform, packed my bag while waiting for the toast to pop and grabbed my toothbrush. I just made it in time for assembly.
They get grouchy if you're late for assembly - apparently being at my year level and being late is a bad example for the little 'uns... :(
